About Us

Each week comedians ANT and Greg Baldwin talk to celebrities and normal folk about their second chance in life. Heroic, inspiring, often comedic true life stories from the people who are living them.

Second Chances Hosts:

Hyper, irreverent, and just downright fabulous, ANT (spelled in caps) has  steadily climbed the comedy hill to become one of the most successful comedians of our time.

A regular guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Tyra Banks show, ANT is the only comedian to appear on all five seasons of NBC’s hit series Last Comic Standing. He is recognized as the host VH1’s  Celebrity Fit Club and in the LOGO series, “U.S. of ANT.”  ANT ventured out of his comfort zone, appearing in  “Celebri-Cadabra.” a competition show featuring magic and celebrities. His hit stand-up DVD, “ANT: America’s Ready” and comedy CD “Follow my ass!” have sold tens of thousands of copies and are available in stores nationwide and online at every CD/DVD retailer including .  ANT’s daily video blog, “The ANT Colony,” has taken the web by storm.

 Second Chances Production:

Matty Staudt

Matty Staudt is a 27 year broadcasting vet and the Executive Producer of Second Chances. His first job was at the age of 16 for his hometown station West Virginia, WQZK. After working his way through college at WCLG in Morgantown WV he got his break with CBS radio and the nationally syndicated G Gordon Liddy Show at WJFK in DC. He then moved on to be an executive producer and programmer for WNEW in New York City, and then as executive producer and on air talent for KLLC’s “The Alice Morning Show,” in San Francisco. He was also co-host of the syndicated radio show “Your Straight Male Friend” and has consulted for Sirius X/M and Premiere Radio in LA. As a voiceover artist he worked on the Pixar movie “Cars” where he played Matti, the reporter.

Seeing the potential in podcasting, he left KLLC in 2007 to become part of the startup team and the first director of content and community at Stitcher; the podcasting app that’s widely considered to be the most popular alternative to the default Apple podcast app.

Having worked as a producer, consultant, and mentor throughout his career, Matty wanted to give back and started teaching at the Academy of Art University. There he developed the first podcast production program of its kind in the United States and their first branded content course.

Not satisfied with helping the podcasters of tomorrow, Matty’s mission is to help the companies of today impact their target audience through branded content podcasts and social media. His company Matty Media now services Fortune 500 clients like Cisco and many startups in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In March of 2017 Matty was named Digital Program Director for iHeart Media San Francisco. In that job he oversees all digital productions, social media, and web content for the companies 6 local stations.
